In honor of Harry’s birthday, the Apothecary Museum is offering special programs exploring the historic muggle science and medicine that’s found in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. This 45-minute tour includes a special take-home activity book. Hooray for Books! will be on site to test your knowledge of Harry Potter trivia, give away Harry Potter swag, and sell fun items. There also will be a photo booth—don’t forget your camera.

Tickets are $6 per person, both children and adults. Tours begin every 15 minutes. At least one paying adult per five children required. Tickets can be purchased beginning July 1 either online at shop.alexandriava.gov or by calling 703.746.3852. This event sells out, so purchase in advance!
