We welcome you to our annual Black Friday sale! Enjoy this alternative to the hustle and bustle at Big Box stores and the mall, all while supporting a local business.
We will open at 6 am and have a cup of coffee ready to give you an extra boost. When you arrive, you'll receive a discount ticket that corresponds to the time you got here.
Hang onto your ticket if you choose to shop elsewhere during the day and come back later for your designated discount. (For example, show up at 7 am, get a 40% discount ticket, go shopping in Old Town, come back to the bookstore at 7 pm, and get 40%--rather than 10%--off your purchase.)
As always, gift wrapping is free! There will be a donation jar at the gift-wrap station, if you'd like to help us pick out books, toys, games, and plush for the Volunteer Alexandria holiday party being held in December.
